Manager needed!

Project development manager for Laurence’s Larder

Laurence’s Larder provides a meal, essential groceries, washing facilities and company for those struggling to make ends meet. Before the pandemic, we served a meal to an average of 70 people , twice a week, in our community kitchen. Since the restrictions came in we have amended our model and provided take-away food to around 45 households a week.

We now wish to appoint our first paid manager to run the daily operation and help us to understand the needs of our current and future guests so we can help them even more.

This new, 18-month contract role, supported by Brent Council, will build on our work to date to develop Laurence’s Larder into a community hub working with our partners to address our guests’ needs.

We’re looking for someone who will work with the trustees and our volunteers to:

- establish the exact needs in our community which the Larder can address

- devise a plan to meet those needs

- raise our profile so even more people can benefit from our services

- work with our local partners as part of a matrix of service provision.
